get off to a good start

After some hard time, with so many changes (for good - fortunately!), I just want to restart my life in the best way... Healthy, surrounded by friends, with love and a job.

I was never someone very ambitious, wanting to be rich, famous or was always seeking what is not made for me, what I can't or should not have... My worries were other ones. I've always looked for well-being.

Now, my time has just arrived, and I think I have the right to, and I am not asking too much (!) : happiness, satisfaction, peace of mind, faith, goodness and a world of new and great possibilities, with less injustice, violence and illness.

Each one writes his own history. I've just start a new chapter... a new life even. Maybe that one it is going to the best one. We never know... I hope write for that, funny and delight words.

My 2015 resolution is being happy - totally possible! Thank God. Amen.

apology

Cuban doctors, forgive some Brazilian comrades who were hostile in your arriving. After all, probably you didn't know, but we have some problems with Education too.

We should thanks besides excuse.

Watch this video out to understand our problem: native medics who don't want to work in distant and disfavored areas against govern measures to contract foreign labour force to cover this national gap.

A shame.

gratitude

Maybe because I'm getting old, becoming more mature and wise, then start to see things im a different way... Perhaps also inpired by some movies as Le Scaphandre et le Papillon, Amores Perros, among others we've watched.

The fact is that, by now,  I strongly feel we should thank for being fine. Only this. In other words: not just realize while bad, sad, or sick, how both pleasant and great is being happy, having good health and peace of mind. Thus, praying heavily to heal as soon as possible, summoning all saints, God and nature.

Life might change so fast... we never know. So, I've thought about that, when well. Furthermore, I'm very grateful when I can smile freely, easily, with no pain, no ill(ness). And then, remind all of them (that are always there), spellbound by beauty of life, possibility of changes... as butterflies one.

Thanks!

viewpoint

Sorry, but I simply CAN'T eschew having some difficulty to credit fat people who give classes in gym.

In my head, a physical education teacher, a sport coach, a physiotherapist, a nutricionist, a endocrinologist, or even a plastic and cosmetic surgeon MUST be thin. Of course an a athlete as well, or a dancer, a coreographer, and a circus performer - except if being a freakshow artist.

All of them should be a model for others, set a good example. After all, these are professions related to health... and fat is not wholesome - not at all!

Ok, at least if they are trying to lose weight together, as somekind of a reality... But even so, credibility keep being a problem for me.

I have this distort. Maybe a little hostile, I know... However, it's my bias.

evil fable

Bizarre things which may be read online, seen around...

New year resolutions concerning health:

- decrease smoking;
- workout.

However, on the first day at gym, before going, he snorted cocaine.

Why? To improve his performance? To bear physical activity easer?

Anyway, it's difficult to understant... It's illogical, unreasonable.

Unhealthy. Against all projections.

A bad lifestyle as option. The same of many soccer players who failed!

The worst are not the drug use, though, it's lying (to himself).

Nothing else than the old and famed choices... Improve? Recover? No: get high!

turning...

into a delicate situation:

Everything was fine until a little detail broke the harmony. Then, all problems came out. A complete 180-degree turn in seconds!

The end of the day was lost by complaints about life - which is not perfect FOR EVERYBODY. Well, never mind... I may make things worse saying that (or anything else).

Too bad! - for health, heart, love, relationship...

twice stronger

For some (in North America), Halloween (which celebrates death on 31th October - that is: soon!); for other, St. Cosmas and St. Damian Day (commemorated yesterday, with lots of goody and candies - as it will be here in the end of the month)... I prefer the second choice, once it's my culture, besides being connected to children.

*By the way, so I am by now. What a grace!

The best way to enjoy it is being with them. Perfect.

love transforms!

A frog to a prince, a skeleton to a rose (healthy) person.

What a difference! Further: what a power of changing!

Stronger than love, only the determination for it, for good.

Pull somebody out of the gutter its not possible when it isn't a personal will, a wishing one. Others just help.

Certain: true/self love =  welfare!

sick fish

Basa (or Panga), commonly eaten by people in Occident nowadays, it is NOT recommendable, though.

Its low prices are just an attractive which disguise the danger of its intake.

Vietnam rivers have been contaminated by chemicals, heavy metals and toxic waste... many provided by the Orange Agent, employed by U.S. army during the war against them. If someone forgot it, a little (current!) reminder here.

Well, something stinks...

Watch this video, besides of reading more to get to know the risks of consuming this fish:

fragile sex

Today, on the Man’s Day, I just want to say that they are not as strong as they try to convince us. Looking at health issue, for example, they (the majority of them, at least) simply turn DRE - digital rectal exam - in a seven headed beast, while women are used with some torture instruments since they went to gynecologist for the first time.

By the way, this date was created so as to men start to pay attention about this kind of thing: care or prejudice which they have or not had. It represents exactly the expression which says that bit where it hurts… or rather, touching a sore (men’s) point. Completely fragile! - physiologically, sociologically and sexually as well.

They mess everything… and avoid mere precautions that can safe their lives. Stupid guys... (or is possible say 'faggy', once they run away from that!)

Congratulation for those who face any fear, weakness and prejudice and keep their lives alive and kicking.

"saudade"!

Even not intentionally, everything we miss must be called to mind while celebrating... especially when it is somewhat healthy, likewise so much intended.

Thus, long live anything which deserves be repeated: ‘Cheers’(,mate)!

I hope to drink a toast again, soon -  in anyway.

health of body and mind

Something wrong happens and a rash inside me outcrops.

I'd prefer that it would be differently. I admit I can't stand deal with that any longer. Legs, butt, arms and neck... please, leave my whole body free of itch.

On the contrary of the speech of Coca Cola advertisement said, it's been difficult to believe that good people are the majority. Unfortunately, the reality which has happened day by day shows its other face: unfair, cruel - hard to believe in hope.

I wonder if I am going to endure all those consequences... or rather: until when?

freak show

Today, Friday the 13th, my subjects aren’t pleasant…

First, gaga Jo:
(someone whose birthday is on the same day of mine)

I’m not sure if, during both my childhood and teen ages, my idea of being an intelligent person used to be other, or if Jo Soares became worse as time goes by. In actual fact, I’m convinced that Jo isn’t a good interviewer.

In the past, I got to think he were, though, but not anymore. I confess I have changed my opinion since the beginning of my journalism course at the university (when it was still OBLIGATED - I’m saying that because as important as necessary it will be always… However it is not a prerequisite to work with information anymore, unfortunately).

The reality is that he does not convince with his disconnected and incoherent questions which don’t give to the audience not even a shallow knowledge about people who are giving him a interview. Sometimes his program finished while we keep without having a good notion about many relevant ideas related. At the same time, he definitely isn’t able to play bongo, especially “alive” (according the jargon of his colleague Fausto Silva that who is capable to, can do it even alive).

By the way, why does nobody tell him that? (his director or anybody else…) Does it happen owing to some kind of respect to old people, dinosaurs of Brazilian television? I think so. Furthermore, considering his high age, no one could dispute that it is a factor set against him. Even using a pre-interview as a support, sometimes he lost the fluidity intended. Unfortunately... Even so, many people have still liked him.

horror reality

Now, an important and appalling issue, which terrify women in the Muslim World: the genital mutilation.

More than extreme Islamic faith, or their tendency to dedicate themselves to the Koran (their soul included), personally, I believe that this is the worst chastisement.

Cruelly, they cut off the little girls’ clitoris in order to prive them the pleasure. This happens in reason of respecting their future husbands.

I’m definitely against this kind of crime with women. Being only a mere body exclusively for reproduction, without any chance to feel sexual satisfaction is, at least, unfair!

Many health consequences may happen during that extraction, inclusively their death in some cases. Without basic sanitary conditions, infections have been common.

I felt really sick seeing pics of proceedings. I confess it turned my stomach! I moan for those women who suffer terrible pain.

gaining my ends

How far can I reach while running more than seven kilometres and riding a bike for one hour every day?

Sometimes, during the exercises, I think about that: where am I going? To my dreams, once I can imagine me slimmer.

It’s a paradox, but my aim is 'less'. .. fatness, fewer kilos than in my early working out days. As a result of so effort, getting the better of it, obtaining more strengthened muscles, vigour and robustiousness.

When health is the main issue, less is more - both wellness and life quality. In this case, weight and self-esteem are inversely proportional.

I’m sure I’m in the right way: making me thin, besides turning me more physically attractive (ready to love again).

in the name of (self-)love

There is nothing worst for a woman than someone asking her if she is pregnant, when indeed she isn‘t. In other words, that means she is fat.

Then, if she has already thought about, this fact represents the deadline to start working out immediately. There are no excuses to evade it anymore.

Actually, even a slight effort to recover health damages is valid. Fortunately, positive physical shifts have happened since visiting often the gym.

Two months later, it is great to hear eulogies when wearing the same clothes which brought in the past doubts about the shape of the body. I confess it is too satisfying, once my ego was massaged. After all, women are silly; they puffed up.

Becoming slimmer increases any self-esteem, letting it swelled as a peacock. That improves inclusively the sex performing. It is not only a behaviour change, but a choise that means so much for life...

Thus, make itself thin is also good for loving.

mockery
(or should I say “cowardice”?)

Weighing against it (literately), there are many kind of sweet temptations. I reckon nobody has pointed them better than Marisa Monte through her song “Não é Proibido” (lyric of her, Dadi and Seu Jorge).

Jujuba, bananada, pipoca,
Cocada, queijadinha, sorvete,
Chiclete, sundae de chocolate,

Uh!

Paçoca, mariola, quindim,
Frumelo, doce de abóbora com coco,
Bala juquinha, algodão doce e manjar.

Ironically, it is one of my favourite ones to workout, likewise most part of those treats appetize me so much - chiefly popcorn and icecream, I confess. Actually, any dessert inspires me to loose weigh as well burn calories while exercising (for sure, thinking about them, that I will be able to eat one day again with no blame).

encrusted

Even 25 years later the Chernobyl Disaster, ten of thousands of Ukrainians, Belarusians and Russians are still living contaminated in their countries (ex Sovietics). Millions of people at those days were affected physically and mentally by the accident.

An explosion at the Nuclear Power Plant in 1986 spread a radioactive cloud over large parts of the Soviet Union. Nearly 8.4 million people were exposed to the radiation and until now new cases of cancer and other diseases are reported all the time. According to the state's statistics, 75 percent of school children have chronic diseases.

On this 25th anniversary, there aren’t many reasons to celebrate, just remember as many as half-a-million heroes who have been involved in the clean-up or repairs of the site since the incident occurred, trying to recover damages. Tens of thousands have died or become sick since then.

This occasion makes me think about the current Japan's situation and all consequences it will suffer over the short (or long) run...

Not compared, but some health ills are transmitted genetically through generations. Allergy, pollution, sun in excess, stress, depression… are other agents that can cause skin problems, in my particular case. However, is the person’s predisposition that results in this (or any) kind of evil.

In other words, my family passed me the genes which permit these reactions on my body. On the whole, there is some cure for each one of them. Albeit they must be know to medicine them rightly. Sometimes, unfortunately, they don't and it is spent much time until discover its causes.

The sands are running out… So, I hope all these kind of health matters can be solved as soon as possible on top of that its solutions can reach all population. So to speak, nobody deserves these kinds (or any one) of long-lasting cruel punishment.

sleepness

I’ve been waked up until late since I was a child. Nevertheless,  lately have been extremely heavy for me that behaviour. Actually, I don’t know for sure if it is something behavioural… at least it is somewhat tiresome.

Many people have this kind of problem related with insomnia at these days. In fact, I think it is a perilous health matter. I really would like to sleep as someone normal and mainly rise from my bed earlier everyday. It has been impossible, though, although I’m trying hard.

I reckon that a 'carpe diem' life is healthier. So, good night!

SOS - brazilian public health system

It is a shame! In a rich country as ours and paying the taxes as population do, should be impossible being this chaos as have been seen nowadays in most part of public hospitals.

I enjoyed so much the news about it presented in Globo Repórter and, in Record, about seniors’ health. I recognize as positive (despite miserable its content) this kind of denunciation which results in government give some answers and do something… (even if) obligated by the public opinion.

As far as I'm  concerned, all politicians should be obligated to use only (and exclusively) the public services they offer for citizens, such as education, health, means of transportation etc. Thus, social conditions will be different, of course. If they (said they that) defend our rights, they must have the duty  of sponging on everything they (should) do in our name.

Due to this injustice I don’t want to get old in Brazil. Unfortunately, I’m not proud about my roots regarding this kind of matter being so common… Help!
