the con prophet

Unfortunately, our main leader is a false prophet... Ego lies to us and makes us believe in many things that are not truth and (chiefly:) act like idiots.

How could us improve our sense of humility and realize we should use mostly the heart instead the head?!

Ego is selfish and doesn't want changes... it is all about itself.

get off to a good start

After some hard time, with so many changes (for good - fortunately!), I just want to restart my life in the best way... Healthy, surrounded by friends, with love and a job.

I was never someone very ambitious, wanting to be rich, famous or was always seeking what is not made for me, what I can't or should not have... My worries were other ones. I've always looked for well-being.

Now, my time has just arrived, and I think I have the right to, and I am not asking too much (!) : happiness, satisfaction, peace of mind, faith, goodness and a world of new and great possibilities, with less injustice, violence and illness.

Each one writes his own history. I've just start a new chapter... a new life even. Maybe that one it is going to the best one. We never know... I hope write for that, funny and delight words.

My 2015 resolution is being happy - totally possible! Thank God. Amen.

once bitten, twice shy

Just in order to protect me and who I love, I will always smell a rat.

Even having a proper and healthy conversation, explaining about cordiality and good forms, trying to make a miracle indeed...  A carrion kite will never be a good hawk!

People don't change! Good-for-nothing... Sorry.

ignorance is a shoot in the foot

Sorry, but wealth doesn't mean smartness! It's not because your house is sooo fancy that your guests should pay tickets to visit you! For God sake, mind you: f*ck your vanity!

If you actually don't master your professional domain (even believing you do...), please, re-examine your affairs' concepts before losing time and money. Moreover, be cleaver: pay someone to work for you, if you are not able to... giving him enough autonomy to think big. It's that easy!

Remember: lightning doesn’t strike twice in the same place... likewise good opportunities! (mainly the best ones!) Quality has its price; Otherwise, distrust.

Learning is everything! - chiefly in order to inovate. Nobody goes forth without freshening... Being opened to new ideas is an excellent investment in a world which is in constant change.

By the way, fund DOES NOT remain for ever...

the more I know about people, the better I like my cat

So as to clarify what I mean, let's take as an example the hot topic worldwide: the last pope's selection.

Positive and negative points for their choice:

- Jorge Mario Bergoglio is a Jesuit. That is to say we expect from him social justice promotion and ecumenical dialogue;
- He chose the papal name 'Francis' in honor to St. Francis of Assisi, who preached detachment of the material goods;
- As an Argentine, he is the first Pope from Americas. I would say "finally". After all, most part of Catholic people is from there - to be precise: South Americans.

On the other hand...

- When Cardinal in Buenos Aires, he had ties to the country's oppressive military dictatorship in the 1970s;
- He is severely opposed to same-sex unions (mentioning it as a 'devil' thing), while Argentine president Cristina Kirchner approved it. They were the first country in the region to decriminalise gay marriage;
- Both abortion and euthanasia, he calls those pro-choice movements as a "culture of death". He is also against contraceptive use (birth control methods).

All these (heavy - in my opinion) objections were presented and, even so, he was elected.

Well, let's see what is coming on. Actually, I haven't believed that Church still have such power as in the past, that it can change lots of things (for better)... but, we never know. At least, if doesn't mess and worsen it, it's already worthy.

gratitude

Maybe because I'm getting old, becoming more mature and wise, then start to see things im a different way... Perhaps also inpired by some movies as Le Scaphandre et le Papillon, Amores Perros, among others we've watched.

The fact is that, by now,  I strongly feel we should thank for being fine. Only this. In other words: not just realize while bad, sad, or sick, how both pleasant and great is being happy, having good health and peace of mind. Thus, praying heavily to heal as soon as possible, summoning all saints, God and nature.

Life might change so fast... we never know. So, I've thought about that, when well. Furthermore, I'm very grateful when I can smile freely, easily, with no pain, no ill(ness). And then, remind all of them (that are always there), spellbound by beauty of life, possibility of changes... as butterflies one.

Thanks!

go(o)d riddance, Pope!

But, WAIT... What a f*ck?! Is it possible?? He was supposed to perform in this function until the end of his days, wasn't he?!

And WHY he did it?! Well, propably the real reasons we'll never know. However, so much buzz inpired hilarious tweets on the net. My favorite theory is that he quit just in time to play in Star Wars new movie (photo).

another joke why the pope left
Anyway, I don't know exactly why I should be happy about that...

Firstly, maybe Renan Calheiros can inspire himself and resign too! If even a Pope is able to, why not a corrupt Brazilian politician?! People will love it!

Secondly, some church rules and old concepts may, FINALLY, change with another person in the power. The use of condoms, abortion (utopia!) and same-sex marriage, for example. Then, I wake up...

Lastly, perhaps a different and audacious candidate will assume this important role. I've heard about the possibility of
the Cardinal Peter Turkson of Ghana - who would be the first black Pope... Cool! There are also some speculations about the Cardinal Marc Ouellet, a Quebecer.

it's said that God is Brazilian, so... why not?!
Or, it would be great if someobe from Latin America (where live most part of Catholic believers) assume the position... Why not the Cardinal Leonardo Sandri from Argentine, or even (as it said that God is Brazilian) the Cardinal Cláudio Hummes, considering that Brazil has the largest number of Catholics in the world ?!

changes

In fact, it doesn't happen fast, over night.

A personal transformation is a shifting, occurs day by day. Improvements, ok, they can come more easily.

Sometimes, to start a revolution, it's just necessary move, move on.

The most difficult is decide it, though. To quit and begin again.

Recommence demands brawn and cogency.

I'm happy I did that. Fortunately.

rien de rien

Non ! Rien de rien
Non ! Je ne regrette rien
Ni le bien qu'on m'a fait
Ni le mal tout ça m'est bien égal !

Non ! Rien de rien
Non ! Je ne regrette rien
C'est payé, balayé, oublié
Je me fous du passé !

Avec mes souvenirs
J'ai allumé le feu
Mes chagrins, mes plaisirs
Je n'ai plus besoin d'eux !

Balayées les amours
Et tous leurs trémolos
Balayés pour toujours
Je repars à zéro

Non ! Rien de rien
Non ! Je ne regrette rien
Ni le bien, qu'on m'a fait
Ni le mal, tout ça m'est bien égal !

Non ! Rien de rien
Non !

my life without me

No, it's not about the movie, despite having enjoyed it... It's about life, the real one. Mine.

Everything I've planned has become of others. On the side, at the time when I'm not there anymore.

It's just strange... Being a beholder of my old dreams which are finally coming true. However, too late for me.

Out of complaints, regrets or even sad unpleasant griefs, I can say, proud, loud and clear: so much the better!

Before, only possibilities; now, detachment.

Things happens when they should. It's not by chance the way they do... All in good time.

Otherwise, I'm pretty sure that everything it would be different. That is to say no changes. And, in the end, that's not what I've wanted.

All told: Away, I'm better. New aims!

for every thing there is a season

When we are in our twenties, we love to be always surrounded by friends, to share everything with... even our room, the apartment, our entire lives and home. However, growing up, things change. Mates too.

Privicy is required, then. Being in forties, in couple, married, with a family formed, it's not the ideal live in some kind of tree house, accomodated like in a camping, as teenagers, in an eternal immature party(life).

Time passes... Ok, unless you are an indian, a hippie, a member of alternative communities, a junkie, or if you are VERY broken to have autonomy, you are not going to agree. It's nonsense, com'on!

Helloooo! Welcome to adult normal life.

Divorced, with kids, as showed in La Galère (a big house divided by four women and their children), I sincerely suspect that it doesn't work anyway... After all, in fiction everything looks great.

Maybe, in the seventies, in a place as Les Résidences Soleil, community life might be a coherent option.

by now

The only possible change is letting my hair grow.

For me.
For love.

Probably, for the last time.

My choice, as a last sigh of youth. To end a long life stage.

It worths it.

gorgeous silver

Once, I asked my mother why she had her hair dyed. Then, I suggested her to leave it natural, grey. Finally, she said to do that with my own hair, by myself, when graying start on me.

Not at that moment, but, now, I undertand her being on the defensive. It's a delicate situation for many women witnessing their hair lose colour; thus, being obligate to dye hair constantly. Many, in fact, the majority, opt for keeping their young hues artificially.

Alternatively, I honestly feel that ladies as Françoise Hardy, Carmen Dell’Orefice, Jamie Lee Curtis, Helen Mirren, Vanessa Redgrave, and last but not least, Meryl Streep (as Miranda Priestly, in The Devil Wears Prada), are glamorous in the way they are: both old and chic.

Their look, a choise, despite thousands of advertisings selling hair dye, as I see it, means a victory, an embrace of the natural changes, an acceptance of lifecycle. Without a doubt, it's an audacious one.

Furthermore, of course, having beautiful gray hair also requires special cares - expensive too! Olden with vanity, a challenge!

Mine, in a few years. Decided!

a gift

It is fairly certain this!

I would like to be one... a model.

On the top of thank all them who transform me (at different levels) in the person I am, not a ordinary one. I became a better me because of them, their lessons I followed.

In the same way, I would like to show people another window of life. Apart from helping them to identify the landscape they see, of course.

Happy Teacher's Day for all!

my contribution

I haven't had kid or adopted one yet, or even planted a tree. Nevertheless, nowadays, in my current situation, in my limited universe (but, at the same time wide due to the knowledge), I can help children by reading.

Thus, I finish this post with a Mário Quintana (my favorite poet) quote, which resumes the issue:

“Books don’t change the world. People change the world. Books only change people.”

The secret for a better world, and future.
